The Jogging Club meets on Wednesdays at 3.30 and pupils, following a series of warm up exercises, are encouraged to run round the field, the aim being to gradually increase the distance covered and so, over time, achieve a better level of fitness. Children are taught appropriate techniques e.g. running on toes and shortening steps when moving up an incline so as to reduce the likelihood of fatigue. The club currently has around 15 members.
