Free school meal food voucher scheme
We are awaiting the final details of this scheme from the government. When we receive the details you will be contacted by your school to arrange for the vouchers to be issued. You MUST NOT give your personal details including bank details to anyone who contacts you purporting to be part of the government team issuing these vouchers or to be acting on behalf of the school. We would never ask you to send personal details to a third party.
UPDATE 9th April 2020
Further to our last notification about the free school meal vouchers, the Trust have decided to use Edenred (This is the Government's chosen National Voucher scheme). The original date set for this to start was the 20th April (start of term 5). The upload for this has been completed by the school but it has come to our attention that you may not have received notification from Edenred as yet. We do wonder if this is due to the start date being 20th April. However, as you may be aware the Government has announced this week that the scheme has been extended to include the Easter holidays. To this end, we are currently trying to apply for the £15 e-voucher for this week and next week - please be patient, we are trying our best in these difficult circumstances. This is the National chosen company, therefore the majority of schools are also trying to complete this order at the same time! Please note once you receive your e-voucher you will need to redeem it on line and chose which supermarket you wish to use it at. There will be a choice of Tesco, Sainsburys, Asda, Waitrose, M & S and Morrisons. We understand that some pupils from other schools have already received vouchers but this will be because they are using a different company. If you have any queries, concerns or worries please email the school office on firstname.lastname@example.org . Kindest regards
