2020 Update

Dear Friends from St Margarets,
We hope you are doing great. We thought of sharing a few activities we have been doing this term.
DEVELOPMENT
We have managed to construct a classroom block with support from parents, each learner was asked to pay a school development fund that helped in the construction of the block. So far we are remained to do floor and plaster the walls of the block. The process is gradual as it is solely dependent on the support learners get from the community.

REUSE, RECYCLE AND REDUCE
We had a Community clean up exercise. We collected litter like used notebook papers to make fuel Briquettes used for cooking. Paper is the common type of litter that normally is found in our classes after weekly assessments. We are now establishing regulations to counter the litter issue in the school.
SPORTS
‘’learners playing tag of wall’’
We had sporting activities on 28thFebruary this year. We had activities like high jump, sack race, bottle race, tag of war, relay race and girls football match between Standard 7 and Standard 8 learners. It was fun.
We have plans to conduct a reading fair on 13thMarch this year. We shall have different activities like reciting poems, reading letter sound recognition, Dances and several other activities in classes 1 to 4.
