Pastoral Support
I am Diane Lacy the Pastoral & Wellbeing Lead.
My role here at St. Margaret's is to support both children and their families when times get a bit tricky.
Whether your child is struggling with attending school or with their mental health I will listen and work with you to identify the correct support. This may be by making referrals to outside agencies such Holding on Letting Go or NELFT or, if more suitable, to one of our team of dedicated counsellors in school.
I am qualified to deliver Drawing & Talking and Sand tray therapy and also with supporting children through bereavement and attachment issues.
Sometimes, home life can change suddenly or become difficult, we are certainly going through unusual times at the moment, so through working very closely with Early Help and Children Services I can help you and your family with other matters not just education.
If you are not aware on Wednesdays, I can be found at the Uniform Store where you can find very good quality uniform at very low cost. However, if you are struggling, please contact me via the school office and I will endeavour to see what I can do to help.
